Fabscraps was founded in 2005 by sisters, Bee Wimbush and Janine Smollan, in their loft in South Africa. What started as a small, local business venture turned into Africa’s leading craft and fabric manufacturing company and by 2009, Fabscraps, had burst into the American market.
Fabscraps can now be found distributed right around the world- from the UK, Netherlands, Canada, Australia and India- all while keeping the essence of a family run business. Their mother still works in admin at 79 years old and Bee’s daughter, Caitlin, runs all international business and logistics for the company. They would not have it any other way.
